Churches attacked as “Allah” row deepens
Up to today, the number of churches attacked has reached eight, but according to Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Home Minister and also an Umno vice-president, the situation is not serious.
“So far the attacks have involved stone throwing and arson attempts. There is no serious damage,†said the Home Minister, referring to the latest report on the surveillance on places of worship. – The Star.

The biggest risk of putting information and photos online is that others can easily copy and post the information or photos as theirs. The worst thing is the other sides never acknowledge the source of information or photos, and treat those as their own. The typical action of copy cats is copy-and-paste part of text from websites or blogs, and post the same in theirs.
Most of Malaysians still think that copying other’s work is okay since most of them do it since studying years. In some universities or colleges in Malaysia, copy-and-paste issue is not seen as “normalâ€, where else in overseas universities, it is a very serious offence and is categorized as academic deceit. Even when I was studying in university regarding intellectual property in corporate law subject, there is close to zero case about breach of intellectual property law in Malaysia.
The awareness of Intellectual Property (IP) in Malaysia is relatively very low. When we say about IP, most of us will think about Internet Protocol instead of Intellectual Property. Is it the awareness of Malaysians regarding the intellectual property is too low because of low exposure about it, or it is just the “tidak apa (literally translated as nevermind)†attitidute?
