December 8th, 2009

Searching on the internet is considered to be part and parcel of information acquirement for most people. Naturally, search is the starting point to find more information, regardless from international sites or local sites. Google always “strive to bring you the freshest, most comprehensive and relevant search results over an ever expanding universe of content on the multitude of device you use to assess it”.

Therefore, the birth of real-time, mobile and social search! The real-time, mobile and social search is indeed important in the evolution of information acquirement process. It means that Google will capture the data or conversations from sources such as Twitter and Facebook, and show it as real-time search result.

That means, data streams from Facebook Pages can be pulled in by Google, and will appear as real-time search result. Besides, any stream data that is publicly available can be pulled by Google as well. This is the addition on top on Google’s partnership with Twitter in October. It seems like many things happened in 2009 for Google and social media networking sites.
